Last month (October 25th) saw the highly anticipated Silverstone experience open to the public and included in the brand new £20 million facility is the new Great British Racing Drivers Experience. Created by British photographer, Indira Flack, it celebrates over 100 of Britain’s most iconic drives including Callum Bradshaw. Callum is amongst legends of the sport both past and present featuring the likes of Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jackie Stuart, Nigel Mansell, Suzie Wolff, John Surtees, Dario Franchitti, Lando Norris, Billy Monger, Jamie Chadwick and Jenson Button.
The exhibition, now open to the public, aims to give an insight into the person behind the visor combining their off track personalities with their motorsport stories. Indira Flack has travelled over 15,000 miles in the last five years to capture all 119 drivers featuring kart racers like Callum (image below) all the way through to current F1 drivers, like George Russell. It is a fantastic concept and will be open at the Silverstone Experience until April 2020.
Throughout it’s first year Silverstone Experience is expected to have up to half a million visitors through its doors all of which will be able to enjoy the Exhibition. It will be part of a 2.5hour journey celebrating the past, present and future of Silverstone. It is open 364 days a year and customers are encouraged to book early to guarantee their preferred date.
A Great British Racing Drivers (GBRD) book is also currently being designed which will feature all 119 drivers. For more information on this head to https://www.gbrd.photos/GBRD-BOOK-/1 or you can register your interest by emailing Indira@gbrd.photo
It is a real honor for Callum to be chosen to feature in the GBRD exhibition with only a select few current drivers from karting featured. The image (below), although dated, captures Callum’s personality and his involvement with the CRG Factory Team. Something Callum will always be proud of being one of the few British drivers at the time to be a part of Factory Team.
It further highlights him as a driver to watch for the future and he will now thousands of eyes on him in 2020!
