This weekend will see the LGM Series come to an end and Callum Bradshaw will be looking to secure 2nd place in the championship at PFI. Since round three Callum has been up against it after being absent from round one and picking up a disappoint result at round two. Since then Callum has not finished outside of the top five with a win and two podiums. It’s been a fantastic recovery which has seen Callum in with a shot at finishing 2nd in the championship this weekend.
It’s been just under two months since round seven took place at GYG in August. Since then Callum has been busy with his CIK-FIA schedule finishing 6th at the World Championships and 3rd at the CIK-FIA Endurance Championship (Le Mans 24 hour). It’s fair to say confidence is high for the CRG Factory driver and on his return to the UK he’ll be hoping to finish in the season in style before heading straight to the IAME International Finals.
It’s been a long time since Callum has raced at PFI with his last big race there falling back in May for the FIA Karting European Championship. That day saw Callum take a solid top ten result, but he will not be worried about his recent lack of track time there given his history at the circuit. As well as picking up several wins and podiums the LGM Series and Trent Valley Kart Club Championship at PFI, Callum also won the MSA Kartmasters British Kart Grand Prix back in 2016.
Callum knows how to win races around here and won’t be phased by the idea that he could become the Vice Champion. Dealing with pressure is something Callum does very well and all that’ll be on his mind is going out and taking victory in the final round of the season.
